IMPORTANT UPDATES ON ACTIVE-WHITE CAPSULES!

HOW TO KNOW THE ORIGINAL FROM FAKE ACTIVE-WHITE
Glutathione is a food supplement and not a drug. It doesn't require a Food and Drug Administration approval in US. Only manufactured drugs and cosmetics undergo this approval. The USFDA, though, released a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) list of safe food supplements and glutathione is listed here. It is classified by FDA in GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) category under specification 21CFR §184.1979c.
NOTE: The manufacturer of Active white Glutathione decided to change their packaging as well as the color of the capsule to ensure the authenticity of the product and to determine which one is fake or not. Beware of FAKES... For details please read details below.
New Active White:
The manufacturer of active white changed their packaging and the color of the capsules to protect the product from the Fake 2010 and 2011 batches of Active White. The New Active White's box letters are embossed. The new color of the capsules is ORANGE not pink and blue anymore coz this was imitated by the fake ones sold in Binondo, Manila. THERE IS A FAKE VERSION OF ACTIVE WHITE WITH NEW AND ORIGINAL SEAL WITH EXP DATE OF 2011 AND ORANGE CAPSULES the only difference is that the color of the foil is not that shiny with the fake version!!! Because of all this confusion the new active white already released the new 2012 expiration date. However, recently I saw a fake version of 2012 expiry date. It's almost the same as the original one. The only difference is the texture of the box used and the foil so please be very careful.

Important factors to help lighten skin SAFELY and EFFECTIVELY

The dilemma of individuals affected by hyperpigmentation problems lies not only in choosing a good product, but the proper way to lighten skin. A successful skin lightening or whitening regimen does not rely on the products alone.

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO HELP YOU LIGHTEN YOUR SKIN EFFECTIVELY:

1. A good skin lightening product should be safe and potent. Ingredients such as hydroquinone, mercury and steroids are harmful substances, and banned for use in Europe and Asia. Studies showed that hydroquinone is carcinogenic and can cause skin cancer. Although some contain an approved 2% content, cautious people choose not to buy. Mercury, on the other hand, poisons the bloodstream, while steroids cause skin thinning and produces stretch marks. The safer ingredients are natural plant extracts known to deliver good skin lightening results, such as kojic acid (from mushroom), licorice (plant extract), and papain (papaya fruit). Potency is another issue because most commercial products show little or no results, ineffective or just a waste of money.

2. Choose a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays, because not all sunscreens block both rays. The UVA rays are responsible for skin cancer, aging and tanning of our skin. The UVB rays burn out skin. Good ingredients are Parsol1789 (at least 3%), Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide or Mexoryl-Sx. The higher the SPF, the better. Wearing sunscreen is a must, whether you’re using skin lightening products or not. Avoid overexposure to the sun particularly between 10am-3pm. Remember, sunscreen does not block all UVA or UVB rays. Even in the shade, the sun’s rays can penetrate, so it’s best to protect your skin physically through hats/sunglasses and long sleeved shirts for extended sun exposure.

3. Take 500mg Vitamin C supplement daily. A daily dose of at least 500mg ascorbic acid is a powerful antioxidant helps promote healthy skin and inhibits the production of melanin. Others take it with whitening pills, but will take months to see results. Your best bet is an intake of this supplement plus the use of good skin lightening products.

4. Use your favorite moisturizers with skin lighteners. Exfoliated skin that is resurfaced as a result of the skin lightening procedure needs hydration to give a rosy, whiter effect. Simply use your moisturizers 5-10 minutes after the application of the skin lightening products.

Alternatives to treat dark skin spots include laser treatment but the price tag can cost over a thousand dollars, or glutathione intravenous injectables that can prove to be effective, but requires high maintenance. Others resort to glutathione, i.e., if you’re willing to wait for months to get results. But the skin whitening market has been flooded by fake whitening pills, and has since confused the consumer on which pill is genuine.

On the other hand, there are expensive skin lightening soaps, lotions or creams that don’t necessarily imply better efficiency over the more economical ones. There are safer, cheaper and better ways to do it as described above. You just have to know where a reliable source is.

In most Asian, African and Latin American countries, fair skin radiates an aura of sophistication. On the contrary, skin tanning is the opposite trend in the United States. Although skin lightening or bleaching is more criticized in the US, both skin lightening and skin tanning are inclined on the same solutions – even skin tone, higher self esteem, or just aesthetic preferences. Fair women would still stand out than bronzed whites visiting Asian countries. The only real difference lies in one’s cultural identity and tradition.

All about Kojic Acid Soap

Kojic Acid - Natural Super Skin Whitener

- A kind of specialized inhibitor for melanin -

What is Kojic Acid?

Kojic acid was discovered as a natural product derived form a mushroom in Japan in 1989. It has been successfully used to lighten pigment spots and skin discoloration and considered as a kind of popularly specialized inhibitor for melanin. At present, it is assigned into various kinds of cosmetics for curing freckles, spots on the skin of elder men, pigmentation and acne.

How can Kojic Acid inhibit the melanin?

On a molecular level, melanin is produced in the body from the conversion (in several steps) of the amino acid tyrosine. The conversion requires the enzyme known as tyrosinase. Kojic acid can prevent the tyrosinase activity through synthesizing reaction with its antioxidant properties after penetrating upper skin layers and entering skin cells to inhibit the formation of pigment at the deep cells on the skin.

Kojic acid can produce excellent effects in even toning the skin, fighting age spots, pregnancy marks, freckles as well as general skin pigmentation disorders of face and body.
Is it safe to use Kojic Acid for skin are?
It is a pure (98%) and natural material. It also is widely used in the field of medicine and food. Because it can eliminate free radicals, strengthen cell activity, and keep food fresh. Kojic Acid is widely consumed in the Japanese diet and is believed to be beneficial to health.
What is the difference between Kojic Acid and Hydroquinone as Whitener?
Hydroquinone has been used for more than a decade as the quickest and best for bleaching brown spots. However, it is a synthetic agent and may cause skin irritations that might result in edema, erythema and desquamation. Therefore, it is banned in European countries and limited to a maximum concentration of 2% in North America due to safety concerns. The American Occupational Safety Hazard Administration (OSHA) concluded that hydroquinone us highly toxic and may cause mutations when used without precaution. Therefore, the lighteners should be labeled the concentrations of hydroquinone or marked free hydroquinone. Comparatively, Kojic acid is absolutely safe to human health. Besides, Kojic acid and its derivative has better inhibitory effect on tyrosinase than any other skin whitening agents.
How should I use Kojic Acid skin whitening soap?
For best results, it is important to use the Kojic Acid whitening soap properly. It should be used twice per day, morning and evening. For sensitive skin apply the Kojic Acid whitening soap to your body first then to your face. Then rinse. For normal skin, it will be best if you leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing, but not too long on the face as you might feel a tingling sensation as common reaction.

TATIONIL + LAROSCORBINE PLATINUM = PERFECT Combination!

TATIONIL COMBINED WITH LAROSCORBINE VIT C WITH COLLAGEN
THE EFFECT IS TREMENDOUSLY FANTASTIC. YOU WILL NOT ONLY ACHIEVE WHITER SKIN BUT PINKISH WHITE SKIN THAT GLOWS.THIS IS THE SECRET OF STAYING AND LOOKING YOUNG...THE RESULT LOOKS RADIANTLY FANTASTIC!!! TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT!

HERE'S A FACT: TATIONIL WORKS BEST WHEN COMBINED WITH LAROSCORBINE PLATINUM Vitamin C with Collagen!

Do you want to know why?

Collagen
is a major structural protein in the skin. It plays a key role in providing the structural scaffolding for cells, tissues, and organs. If it weren't for collagen, the body would literally fall apart. Collagen also gives the skin its strength and durability and is responsible for the smooth, plump appearance of young, healthy skin. Understanding the structure and function of collagen will help you better know how to maintain a healthy, youthful appearance.

What Is Collagen?

Collagen is the body's major structural protein composed of three protein chains wound together in a tight triple helix. This unique structure gives collagen a greater tensile strength than steel. Approximately 33 percent of the protein in the body is collagen. This protein supports tissues and organs and connects these structures to bones. In fact, bones are also composed of collagen combined with certain minerals such as calcium and phosphorus.

Collagen plays a key role in providing the structural scaffolding surrounding cells that helps to support cell shape and differentiation, similar to how steel rods reinforce a concrete block. The mesh-like collagen network binds cells together and provides the supportive framework or environment in which cells develop and function, and tissues and bones heal.

Collagen Synthesis Collagen is created by fibroblasts, which are specialized skin cells located in the dermis. Fibroblasts also produce other skin structural proteins such as elastin (a protein which gives the skin its ability to snap back) and glucosaminoglycans (GAGs). GAGs make up the ground substance that keeps the dermis hydrated. In order to signal or turn on the production of skin structural proteins, fibroblast cells have specially shaped receptors on their outside membranes that act as binding sites to which signal molecules with a matching shape can fit. When the receptors are bound by the correct combination of signal molecules (called fibroblast growth factors, or FGFs), the fibroblast begins the production of collagen.

Fibroblasts initially produce short collagen subunits called procollagen. These are transported out of the fibroblast cells and later join together to form the complete collagen molecule. Vitamin C acts as a cofactor during many steps of the process. Without sufficient levels of vitamin C, collagen formation is disrupted. This disruption leads to a variety of disorders such as scurvy—a disease where the body cannot produce collagen and, as a result, essentially falls apart as these support structures (collagen) deteriorate.

Collagen synthesis occurs continuously throughout our lives to repair and replace damaged collagen tissue or build new cellular structures. The degradation and recycling of old or damaged collagen is a healthy, natural process used to create protein fragments needed to build new cellular structures, such as in the healing process. With age, collagen levels drop off due to a decrease in production and an increase in degradation.

Protecting Current Collagen Levels and Preventing Future Collagen Degradation

The best way to maintain a healthy, youthful looking appearance is to protect the healthy collagen you currently have and to prevent future collagen degradation. There are two main ways to do this: 1) avoid UVA and UVB radiation and 2) prevent free radical damage.

Exposure to ultraviolet (UVA and UVB) radiation emanating from the sun is the most prolific contributor to premature skin aging, accounting for an estimated 90 percent of the signs associated with aging skin. UV exposure must be limited and individuals should wear a daily sunscreen to protect healthy collagen. Many skin care companies understand this need and incorporate sunscreens into their daytime moisturizers.

The second preventive step in protecting existing and future collagen levels is supplementation with both oral and topical antioxidants. As antioxidants fight free radicals from UV light, ozone, pollution, cigarette smoke, and internal metabolic processes, they prevent the degradation of existing collagen fibers and protect the healthy function of fibroblast cells.

Promoting the Synthesis of New Collagen There are many ways to promote the synthesis of new, healthy collagen. First, you can provide the skin with a reserve of vitamin C. As a necessary cofactor in collagen synthesis, vitamin C is proven to increase the production of collagen. One study showed that extended exposure of human connective-tissue cells to vitamin C stimulated an eight-fold increase in the synthesis of collagen (Murad et al., 1981).

Another way to promote the synthesis of collagen is to use chemical exfoliants, such as alphahydroxy and polyhydroxy acids, which break down the bonds between cells of the stratum corneum and slough away dead skin. Consistent exfoliation stimulates cell renewal. Chemical exfoliation has also been shown to increase dermal thickness. Scientists attribute this dermal thickening to the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and collagen within the dermis.

A third way to promote collagen synthesis is to supplement with collagen stimulating peptides. Fibroblasts are naturally stimulated to begin the synthesis of collagen when specific combinations of peptide signal molecules (fibroblast growth factors) bind to receptor sites on the fibroblast membrane. These signal molecules can be supplemented with topically and help boost collagen production. Some skin care companies are including these peptide fragments in their treatment products. Because collagen gives the skin its strength, durability, and smooth, plump appearance, it's important to protect and promote collagen growth. Taking good care of your skin means taking care of your collagen.

MORE ABOUT Intravenous VITAMIN C:

Can't tolerate antibiotics? Intravenous vitamin C is an immune system booster with anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-histamine properties. Receiving a vitamin C infusion instead of antibiotics for common problems such as a urinary tract infection is a healthier option when antibiotics are of concern. People who suffer reoccurring viral infections such as warts or herpes find long term relief without the need for medication. It also offers protection from common ailments such as cold and flu viruses.
